At their regular General Meeting on Wednesday evening, 5/18/11, the Tri-Cities Democratic Forum - the local Democratic Club; elected a new Executive Board for the next year.

Both the Chair, Yogi Chugh, and the Treasurer, Raj Salwan, were re-elected to their positions for another term of office; and a couple newcomers will join them.  Mary-Kate Crawford will be the new TCDF Secretary, and Debbie Pearson accepted the position of Vice Chair.  Jan Giovannini-Hill will occupy the newly created Communications Director position for the Club.

Tri-Cities Democratic Forum, or TCDF as it is more commonly known, generally meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Chandni's Restaurant in Newark, CA (except August and December).  Gathering time begins at 7:00 p.m., with the General Meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m.  Anyone interested in learning more about the Democratic Party and gearing up for future local, regional, state and national political races is welcome to attend.

Membership is open to registered Democrats who want to further the purposes of the TCDF.  The 2011 Annual Dues are:   $20 for a regular membership; and $10 for Students (age 18-21) and Seniors (age 65+).

The June 2011 General Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Chandni's; and one of the business items will be to swear in and install the newly elected TCDF E-Board Members.
